Of Germanic origin, the tradition of Christmas markets dates back to the 14th century, when it was called the Saint Nicholas Market, or "Christkindlmarkt". Since then, the cities that organize it become a coveted destination for buying Christmas gifts and they have developed a little everywhere in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol.

Trentino fits into this tradition, with many markets scattered throughout the territory, real crown jewels of the province.

The Rango Christmas Market takes place in the streets of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italyjust seven kilometers from the Grand Hotel Terme di Comano.

The Rango Christmas Marketawaits you starting from Saturday, November 19. 

Set in two of the city's most beautiful squares, Piazza Cesare Battisti and Piazza Fiera, the Trento Christmas market with around 62 exhibitors in typical wooden huts, makes a visit to Trentino even more unique. There are so many handcrafted products that you can find only here, home goods, Christmas decorations, personal care products, not to mention typical specialties to accompany mulled wine.
Trento, the city of Christmas, awaits you for the 28th edition of the Christmas marketsstarting on November 19 among the decorated streets and light displays that create a magical atmosphere from the beautiful Piazza Duomo.

The medieval atmosphere of the village of Canale di Tenno, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy suspended between Lake Garda and the mountains surrounding the Trentino Garda, is enriched by the magical Christmas lights and the stalls filled with Christmas delicacies and beauties. Canale awaits you with the typical inn where you can taste the local specialties such as salted meat and rich Christmas sweets, not to be missed the appointment of December 26 with the living nativity scene and the historical reenactment.

Rovereto,the city of Peace in the heart of the Vallagarina, is organizing the "Natale di Luce" event dedicated to brotherhood and solidarity among peoples. The historic center comes alive thanks to the traditional little houses and the Cortile Urbano where you can taste local specialties and let yourself be intoxicated by the enveloping scent of mulled wine and Christmas spices. The numerous 18th-century palaces that adorn the city are illuminated by captivating light displays that make a walk through the streets of Rovereto a unique and special moment between a visit to the famous Mart, the museum of modern art, to the Casa Depero or to the Castle of Rovereto with its war museum.

The village of Arcoawaits you with its numerous little houses of local crafts and delicacies at the foot of the castle of the same name, a must-see stop among lights, donkey tours dedicated to children, the nativity scenes in the ancient district of Stranfora and the itinerant shows with street artists.
