The Comano thermal baths in the national guidelines for the treatment of atopic dermatitis

The importance and therapeutic effectiveness of balneotherapy with Comano thermal water has been confirmed by a position paper by the most important experts in pediatric allergology, immunology, and dermatology, who have drawn up the national guidelines for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in children.
This is also due to a study conducted on 104 children (0-14 years old), half of whom underwent thermal baths and half of whom were treated with corticosteroids for two weeks, which found a significant reduction in the number and duration of flare-ups after four months from treatment in favor of the balneotherapy group.
