Wellness Swimming Pool. Our Thermal SPA has been awarded!

The Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, the International Pool Show, was held in October in the Iberian Peninsula. The event, specializing in wellness centers, sports facilities, and fitness clubs, saw the participation of 488 exhibitors from 54 countries across Europe. Among the various events on the program was the awards ceremony for the best projects. And do you want to hear the good news? The Piscina&Wellness Barcelonais an international award organized by the Technology Institute of Catalonia, which promotes innovation and sustainability in projects for the swimming pool and wellness sector. Among the 33 entries received from around the world, the outdoor pool at the Grand Hotel Terme di Comano won over the jury. For what reasons?

Here is the reasoning:
“The project is part of a natural environment of great value, which becomes the main source of inspiration for integrating the installation with its surroundings. The opening of the indoor spaces towards the outdoors therefore offers an interesting playful integration, without sacrificing the intimacy of the spaces. All created with natural materials, very simple yet evocative lines.”

The project to complete the Thermal SPA continues, and surprises are in store. As early as December, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the warm waters of the large outdoor pool thanks to the connection with a new panoramic indoor pool featuring large, bright windows overlooking the park, equipped with in-water chaise longues, hydromassage jets, and waterfalls. 

In spring 2020, coinciding with the new season of the Grand Hotel Terme di Comano, there will be the inauguration of a panoramic winter garden and the addition of new spaces and “natural wellness” experiences, including saunas, steam baths, and other large relaxation areas. With the expansion, the Terme di Comano wellness center will reach 3,500 square meters, making it one of the largest spas in Trentino.
