General info

Where are the Comano thermal baths located?

Comano Thermal Baths are located in the heart of Trentino, about 30 minutes from Trento, halfway between Lake Garda and Madonna di Campiglio. The thermal spa and the Grand Hotel are nestled in a 14-hectare thermal park.

Are the Baths open all year?

The Terme di Comano are seasonal: they are open from April to the first week of January. The ComanoMed specialist polyclinic, on the other hand, is open all year round by appointment, for visits and diagnostic tests.

What are your opening hours?

Spa treatments are available from Monday to Saturday, including holidays, according to the treatment plan agreed upon during the admission visit. On Sundays, the spa center is open only in the morning, until 12:00 PM.

Why is Comano's water so beneficial?

Spa treatments

What does a thermal spa treatment involve?

Spa treatments are tailored to each person's condition. On the day of arrival, a medical examination is scheduled with one of our specialists, who will define the most suitable treatment plan: type of treatment, frequency, and duration.

How do thermal baths work?

Thermal baths are indicated for dermatological conditions such as psoriasis and dermatitis. They are taken in individual tubs, with immersions lasting about 20 minutes, once or twice a day according to medical advice. The ideal cycle lasts 10–12 consecutive days.

What are inhalation treatments and pulmonary ventilation?

For respiratory problems — such as sinusitis, rhinitis, or chronic bronchitis — inhalations and aerosols are performed (approximately 15 minutes per session, usually twice a day) or lung ventilations, which is a respiratory exercise that helps increase lung volume.

What are the benefits of thermal hydromassages?

Whirlpools with thermal water are recommended for those suffering from circulatory problems, varicose veins in the lower limbs, or chronic venous insufficiency. Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes and is carried out once a day, for an ideal course of 10-12 days.

What is vaginal douching?

Thanks to the anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and cleansing properties of Comano water, vaginal douches are indicated in the presence of chronic inflammatory processes such as vaginitis and leucorrhea. Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes and is performed once a day.

What is hydropinic therapy?

Balneotherapy involves drinking Comano thermal water directly from the source. It has a diuretic and detoxifying effect and is recommended as a complement to any treatment plan, to promote physiological exchange and replenish mineral salts.

What conditions can be treated?

Terme di Comano offers treatments for various dermatological and respiratory conditions. To access the Italian National Health Service (SSN) agreement, a prescription from your general practitioner is required, indicating one of the covered pathologies. It is also possible to receive treatments privately: consult the complete price list or contact us for more information.
