The treatment promotes the restoration of normal vaginal mucous membrane functions, helps to rebalance the bacterial flora, and supports the natural defense mechanisms of the skin and mucous membranes. It is particularly indicated for recurrent inflammatory conditions and during delicate phases of a woman's life, such as postpartum and menopause.

Frequency and duration

The frequency and duration of vaginal irrigation cycles are determined by the thermal physician during the admission visit, based on the clinical condition and the patient's needs. Generally, the treatment is included in a continuous thermal cycle of 8-12 days, to achieve a progressive and lasting rebalancing of the mucous membranes.

Method

The treatment consists of vaginal irrigations lasting approximately 15 minutes, performed with devices that control the temperature (37–40 °C) and pressure of the thermal water. The procedure is completely natural, gentle, and well-tolerated, and is carried out under the supervision of healthcare personnel to ensure safety and efficacy.
